I have disabled comments on this blog for now. I was just getting so many spam comments it was crazy!
Anyway, I’ve been crazily busy for ages now, but I’m planning on updating and releasing a new Lookhappy website that will better display my work and be easier for me to update and more fun for you to visit!
It may take me a couple of months but it will happen!

It’s been a while

Just to let everyone know - I am still here. I’ve just been so crazily busy lately I have had no time to update this site once again. I’m hoping to post some more work samples and things in this blog part soon. We shall see though. As people always push to get more out of me for less, which means other jobs get set back and I end up working crazy hours and still not manage to keep up.
If anyone fancies sending me a hug that would be hugely appreciated.

Work hours

Being self employed can be exhausting at times.
At the moment I’m suffering from insomnia - getting a maximum of 4 to 5 hours sleep a night.
Occasionally I will receive a voicemail from a frustrated client saying they have been trying to contact me for days but to no avail. This has happened twice in the past. And it’s simply because I have a phone I use for work calls, which I keep switched on from 10am untill 6pm Monday to Friday. Any conversations or meetings outside those hours need to be arranged through email. Otherwise I’ll be eating dinner, playing games, in the cinema, all sorts of things.

So getting back to work after such a nice christmas break has been tough.
Just getting my brain back into gear again.
The balance has been really hard to get right - spending some of my time sorting out fairly small problems and panics for people, and the rest of my time trying to be creative and come up with inspiring art ideas. It’s been difficult to switch my brain from the structure of code, to the freedom of art, and back again.
But I’m getting there.
